Why a Wage Slip?
All fair and ethical employers understand that a wage slip is a
right of an employee under applicable enactments, due to certain
constraints, they may not be providing you wage slip, or providing
you a wage slip on their own company site or on your official email,
which becomes inaccessible to you in case of your separation with
the organization, and are therefore not compliant to provisions of
law in true sense.
We are here to provide them with a very cost effective solution,
almost at the cost of the paper used for printing the wage slips, to
get compliant and continue to be a fair and ethical employer.
We maintain encrypted data, accessible only through dual
authentication method by employees, even when their access from
company site is revoked, thereby helping corporate to follow the law
in letter and spirit.
Non
Providing Wage Slip is also a statutory non compliance under The
Payment of Wage Act, which covers all employees withdrawing salary
upto 18000/-

the basis of all his net earnings and deductions for a particular
month.
> A salary/wage slip provides and instant help for individuals who are
trying to get financial support for banking/financial institutions.
> A salary/wage slip serves as a proof of income indicated (and the net
take home everymonth) This helps banks/financial institutes decide
on the loan amount to be sanctioned.
>it provides a proof of continuity in service (usually any kind of
finacial help required from a bank calls for provision of 3 months
salary/wage slips & the account statements of the salary account )
What if a company does not provide salary/wage slips:
> It really does not always indicates an unprofessional attitude of
company towards services rendered by an employee, but could be
simply that company has no access to easy service provider for
making wage slip available to its employees. Suggest us to them.
> It would call for a enough employee issues (imagine a disgruntled
employee walking to your desk every now and then asking for
clarification on salary paid)
>Providing a salary/wage slip may not guarantee satisfied employees, but
not providing one sure causes dissatisfaction.
>The impacts of these employee issues can be seen in a number of
ways (poor performance, multiple issues concerning salaries, may
contribute to attrition)
>Labour Department Officials can
always question for non compliance of Payment of Wages Act.
For Employees:
If your employers are not providing you with the salary/wage slips, that
does not support you in quitting the organisation without a notice
period.(moreover taking a closer look, if you quit without adequate
notice period, you may as well not receive any kind of employment
documents (relieving or experience letter) which are all the more
important in case you do not have a salary/wage slip!
If your employer does not provide with a salary/wage slip, you may
request for a salary certificate (with the salary structure)
whenever required.
